Shannons Eastern Creek Classic 2007

Congratulations to member Leon Spicer, whose fastidiously restored FE Special Sedan won not only Best 1951-1960 Concours Vehicle, but also the Grand Champion.

Well done Leon.

August 26 is the annual Shannons Eastern Creek Classic, with over 1800 vehicles on display at the western Sydney race track.

The event is organised by the Council of Motor Clubs, and is open to members of affiliated clubs with original / restored vehicles, and more information can be found at the official Eastern Creek Raceway site.

As usual, we had a club display, and as mentioned above Leon's car was amongst those in the concours. More info and comments about the day can be found on our forum.
