Meeting Place: the Shell Service Station on the Great Western Highway near Eastern Creek (corner Brabham Drive)
Meeting TIme: 10.00am for 10:30 departure (or meet us at the Reservoir)
Destination Address: Prospect Reservoir, entrance off Reservoir Road, Prospect.

There are barbecues at dam (of the open fire type). If do not want to BBQ please bring your own lunch as there is no shops at the reservoir. Prospect Reservoir is located on Prospect Creek, approximately 35 kilometres west of Sydney. The dam was completed in 1888 and was the first earthfill embankment dam in Australia. Its original purpose was to store water fed by gravity from the dams of the Upper Nepean system, via the Upper Canal. Come along and have a relaxing day under the trees.
