Geoff K's FE Business Sedan

In October 1956 Geoff's father purchased this Desert Tan Business Model (an FE-217, sometimes known as a taxi model), which was on display at the Wagga Wagga Show.
On the same Show day, and with consecutive number plates Geoff's uncle purchased the Elk Blue Special model 225, and his grandfather purchased a Grey Special.
On many occasions all cars could be seen together around Wagga and on the farms until about 1970.

The car was faithfully restored in 2004 retaining all original trim and head lining. Nasco accessories fitted include: sun visor; mascot, radio; electric wipers; and indicators (non-standard for 217 model).
Geoff learnt to drive, and has been traveling around in this car for most of its (and his) life and has been to three FE-FC Holden Nationals with the car.
Photo was taken on the Great Ocean Road on the way to the 2008 Mt Gambier Nationals.
