The clock's ticking... should you be out in the shed, getting that car ready?

Welcome to Update #2 for entrants of  the 13th FE-FC Holden Nationals.

Last time I mentioned the number of cars entered at the event, which is a record-breaking 164. How many people do you reckon belong to all those cars? 380, give or take. It's the equivalent of every Premiership player (including reserves and coaches) in the AFL, all wanting to be fed at the same time. That's a lot of people to look after, and a lot of people to try and have a beer with over the course of the weekend!

Seriously, what it will mean, of course, is that feeding everyone will be a massive exercise in logistics. So please, be a little understanding with the people doing our catering.

Friday Picnic Run to Lake Canobolas

Thank you to everyone who has responded. So far we have about 30 people participating. If you're arriving in Orange on Thursday or earlier, it's an opportunity for a relaxing run before the event really gets underway. Putting Names to Faces

We would like to have partners' names to go with the names of our entrants, if possible. It will help to personalise some of the entrant information you'll receive. If you didn't send in your entry as "Fred & Mary Jones", a quick email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with the names of the people covered by your entry would be most appreciated. Don't forget to include your entrant number.

60 Years of Holden

One of the judges at this year's event will be Terry Bebbington, known to some of you as "Dr Terry", and also the author of this authoritative book on the make we love. Terry will be bringing copies of his book which retails for $59.95 to the event, and will be happy to autograph it for you. More details about the book can be found here.

We will also have a variety of other merchandise for sale when you register, and at the Show 'n' Shine. These include items like key-rings, lapel-pins and stubbie holders.

If you didn't order merchandise when you entered, it is too late to do so now unfortunately. However, you will be able to order any of the clothing items from the range at the event for delivery to you after the Nationals.
