Merchandise |
|
|
All the currently arranged merchandise now have individual pages in the Merchandise area of the website.
Let me tell you, entering all those different sizes and details is a major pain in the backside. And there's only so many ways you can say "Orange is cold, buy some of our lovely warm clothes".
That's not the end of the merchandise though. There will be some other items made available, probably for sale at the event itself. The ones on the form are the ones that (mostly) need to be in specific sizes for pre-ordering.
There are things like stubbie holders and key-rings underway. We'll post pictures of them here as they get finalised. With these things, we'll be getting a certain number made, and once they're gone, they're gone.

TNF |
|
|
My wife Di and daughter Rachael had to replace one of our fish the other day.
They came home with this fellow:
When it came to naming it, Rachael nominated "Stripey". But I said "No. That's 'TNF', has to be."

A doorstop made out of TNT ? |
|
|
As you probably know, the NSW Club is very much indebted to our member Ted Lowe for all the work he's put into building "Project Orange", to promote the 13th Nationals.
So when I saw samples of these door-stops at the NSW All Holden Day, I thought: "I know someone who'd like one of these..."
We "presented" it to Ted at our meeting the other night. He was suitably impressed

Hey Lamborghini! What do you think you're playing at? |
|
|
The stylists at Lamborghini have obviously been cruising the internet, looking for inspiration.
How else can you explain this?
This is the new Lamborghini Balboni, a 410kW, V10-powered LP550-2 VB Gallardo, that could probably match it with TNT over the quarter-mile.
Thieving buggers. Hey Lamborghini! Does Signore Balboni know you nicked the styling from a 50 year old Holden?
I reckon they should call it the Lambo TedLo

A number of club members participated, with Gary and Ted each bringing one of their FCs along.
This Sunday 6 September is the Biante Touring Car Masters at Eastern Creek. If you've an interest in the Muscle Car Masters, Group N (Appendix J) racing, get along to the racetrack.
