Here is one of the nicest ads you will ever see. Features 2 great colour family pics, typical of Australian lifestyle. Published in the Australian Womans Weekly, February 19, 1958. Nice large advert at around A3 in size. The page is starting to yellow with age, but that just ads more character in my opinion.

Alex

I think those pics deserve to be shown more clearly, so here goes.

It took a bit of time to find this old topic, but I've dug it up because I scored a copy of this advert over the New Year break.  Went to a little country town market and found a basket of 50's and 60's Womens Weekly mags.  This edition was amongst them and for sale at the rock bottom bargain price of $2.00  Cheesy
The quality is great and I am one happy camper.  There weren't any other Holden adverts in the small collection of mags for sale.  One day the dockside advert will surface somewhere - or maybe I better just keep dreaming about that one.
Cheers,
David

Scanned the advert to give everyone a clearer look.
Pics updated.
Interestingly I scored a B&W advert that uses a version of the wagon pic, with a cool difference.
I will post it in the near future.
